A message from our president

Family comes in many shapes and sizes. One family that I had growing up was my Fire Department family. The sense of belonging and community that comes with being apart of a organization like that is a feeling like no other. It made me feel safer knowing the teammates my dad had when he left the house in the middle of the night or stepped out during church on sunday to go help someone he didnt know. Looking up to my father i knew i wanted to give back to my community like he did. Partnering this passion with an incredible team behind me we founded Lakes Area Heroes. We wanted to be more than just writing a check, our goal is to bring the community together to show how much we love and support our heroes. Our community needs a way to return the favor to these heroes who find it very difficult to ask for help.
